Bluetooth Disappears From Windows? Check Drivers and Hardware
Bluetooth problems often show up as missing settings, devices that will not pair, audio dropouts or the Bluetooth icon disappearing entirely. The cause may be a Windows update, driver issue, power setting or the wireless module itself.
Check whether Wi-Fi is also affected. In many laptops, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth share the same internal module or antenna path. If both have problems, hardware becomes more likely.
Pairing is not the only check
Remove old paired devices carefully and test with a known-good device. If Bluetooth is missing from Device Manager or appears with errors, driver or hardware diagnosis is needed.
Do not install random driver tools. Use the manufacturer's support page or a controlled repair process.
Physical clues
Bluetooth issues after a drop, screen repair, hinge damage or liquid exposure can involve internal antennas or board connections.
