Use a Separate Windows Account for a Repair Demonstration
A separate Windows account can provide a clean place to demonstrate a display, sound or application problem. It can also help establish whether the symptom depends on settings in your usual profile. It does not create an absolute privacy barrier against someone with administrator access.
Before creating anything, agree on what needs testing. A fault that occurs only inside your signed-in email or business application may not reproduce in an empty account. In that situation, a supervised demonstration with private content closed may be more useful than handing over a broad set of credentials.
Create only the access needed
For a personal PC you administer, open Settings, Accounts, Other users and choose Add account. Microsoft's local-account route uses I don't have this person's sign-in information, followed by Add a user without a Microsoft account. Use a unique password rather than reusing one from email or online banking.
Keep the account standard unless a specific task requires administrative rights. Log into it yourself once, confirm that the required application or device can be tested, and use harmless sample files. Do not connect your personal cloud accounts just to make the temporary desktop resemble your normal one.
For an employer's computer, ask its administrator to arrange appropriate access. Creating an unmanaged account may conflict with the organisation's support process.
Record what the comparison proves
If the symptom occurs in both accounts, note that result. If it appears only in your usual account, preserve that profile and report the difference; do not delete it as a shortcut. The comparison narrows the investigation but does not identify the exact cause by itself.
After the work is complete, check whether the temporary account contains any useful test results or files before removing it. Windows account removal also removes that account's local data. Keep the repair notes you need, then remove the temporary access through the same account-management page.
